Naja Hall: Creator, Coach, and Advocate for Blended Families

Hi there, I’m Naja Hall, the voice and visionary behind the podcast I Know I’m Crazy with Naja Hall. My podcast dives headfirst into the chaos surrounding divorce, co-parenting, stepparenting, and mental health for people navigating non-traditional and blended families. As a certified life coach, I’m passionate about helping families find harmony amidst the complexity of modern relationships.

My journey as a digital creator began in 2013 with my first blog, MissNaja.com (lovingly archived), where I found my love-love relationship with sharing my world online. In 2016, I took this passion further with the creation of Blended and Black, which has since grown into the largest community for millennial families navigating stepfamily dynamics. My community reaches over 100,000 people across social media, email, and live events, making it a go-to resource for those looking to thrive in blended families.

Building on this momentum, I launched VIPStepmom in 2019, a membership platform designed specifically for women in relationships with parents, offering resources, support, and a vibrant community.

But my love for storytelling doesn’t stop at family dynamics. I’ve kept my comedic chops sharp through my rom-com series, Dating Debacles, which has received critical acclaim and won Viewer’s Choice at the Brooklyn Film Festival. And because creativity fuels everything I do, I expanded into the beauty industry with the launch of NajaHallBeauty in 2022.

Whether I’m podcasting, coaching, writing, or creating, my mission remains the same: to inspire laughter, healing, and connection in every facet of life.

Meet Naja Hall

Hi, I’m Naja Hall—Tony’s wife, Nate’s daughter, and a sister/friend to many. Born and raised in Memphis, TN, I’ve called Harlem, New York City, my home since 2007.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Tennessee and pursued my MBA in International Business at the University of North Texas. While in Dallas, I started my career as a corporate buyer for Fortune 500 companies. But one day, as I gazed out of my plush office window, I saw the endless parade of dark suits marching toward monotony. That was my cue to grab my glittery broomstick, fly away, and reinvent myself—and I’ve never looked back!

If I could have one superpower, it’d be teleportation. I’d start my mornings with cheese eggs, bacon, and grits at my Grandma’s table in Memphis, enjoy a midday swim in Antigua, have lunch in Rome with fascinating strangers, and still make it home to Manhattan for dinner with my husband.
